Nineteen Eighty-Four describes totalitarianism in its consummated form--State has religious near-omniscience; thought is known probabilistically; prior to action, prior to behavioral shifts, it is anticipated. Naturally, the Watchtower's quasi-totalitarian doctrines and practices are analogous to the world of Nineteen Eighty-Four; a world that aspires to an unrealizable religious absolute (the state that would exist if various theistic religions had the truths they claim).

THE Book
by Farkel inthis is probably directed more to dubs who are having doubts than to ex-dubs, but it is still appropriate for both groups.
i'll only be offering my own personal opinion here, of course, but then again, i'm never wrong about anything.
well, i was wrong once; that was the time i thought i was wrong about something.. when it comes to definitive books which clearly expose the wts for what it really is, there is one which towers over all the others, and that book is 1984 by george orwell.

Do we really exist?
by cyberjesus inwe are made of atoms, the whole world, our furniture, our skin, the planet and the universe.
even jws and god-loving exjws in this forum accept it.. but atoms are made of smaller particles, electrons, protons, neutrons.
but what are those particles really?

One would not say a building does not exist because it is made of bricks; these are non-issues.
Weird theories? You mean unsupported or unvalidated theories; the "theory" of creationist flavor. Non-comprehension does not make something right either; if we cannot comprehend something then it is suspicious. There are many examples in philosophy and science of things which are weird but are not "weird."

Funny, porn popups only afflict those already watching porn.
The internet isn't really something to get on or somewhere to go; it is something to access information through. That is scary; when one should be weary of using a tool. Neocortex, internet, what else?
